Concept albums! I love concept albums, and we’re gonna finish off today’s #dailysong mass upload with a fairly modern one, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. I chose this song in particular because, well put simply I think it’s fun. XD But in all seriousness, the world and story that MCR made with this album are really cool, but I’ve only heard so much of it. I’m sorry to say I haven’t heard most of their music despite loving everything I have heard. I’ll go hand in my emo card now. Seriously though, this is a really interesting resistance, post-apocalypse story that I actually enjoy. And I don’t enjoy these kinds of stories often! I couldn’t even get through the Hunger Games trilogy, that is how much I dislike these kinds of stories. Maybe it’s because it’s paired with music, so it’s easier and more exciting for me to go through, but regardless it’s an interesting concept for an album and one I look forward to exploring in more detail down the line. The song itself doesn’t tell much of the story, as far as I can tell. It feels more like a call to arms. Propaganda, of a sort. And on that note, it’s pretty catchy propaganda. So give it a listen, and while you’re at it, check out the lyric video as well as that one isn’t censored, although you will lack the story told through the music video. It was a hard choice on which to pick, but I figured since it’s a concept album that the concept itself was more important. Anyway, here’s “Na Na Na,” by My Chemical Romance. (It’s such a dumb title, and I love it. XD )

“I’d rather go to Hell than be in purgatory. Cut my hair. Gag and bore me. Pull this pin, let this world explode.”
