I'll admit, the writing is good, which is new to me. I'm just not very accustomed to the topic you chose.
Also, no, don't end the "chapter" there, unless you're making it a prologue, in which case call it a prologue. That's way too short to be a proper chapter, but it's just the right length and the right mood to be an enticing prologue.
