To help people understand the Halloween timeline better i will be explaining in a simplistic manner. Tye timeline opens with Halloween (1978) after the first one we move onto Halloween II now if you there are two options here: you can either go the “Jamie Lloyd era/Thorn era” or Laurie Strode continuation era. Jamie Lloyd/Thorn would be Halloween (1978), Halloween II, Halloween 4, Halloween 5 and Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers. Laurie Strode continuation is Halloween (1978), Halloween II, H20 (Halloween 20 Years Later), and Halloween Resurrection. If you want to you can watch the “Rob Zombie Re-Imagination era” (Halloween 2007, Halloween II ((2009))). In an alternate universe is Halloween III: Season of The Witch which has nothing to do with Michael therefore it does not matter. And finally is the John Carpenter approved Timeline: Halloween (1978) and Halloween (2018) plus Halloween Kills (2021) and Halloween Ends (possibly 2022)
