Yes, my name is taken directly from the Japanese word for 'rain.' Yes, there's more significance to it from that. No, it's nothing ridiculously deep or whatever. At the end of the day, I really just chose it because it's a pretty name and I love the kanji for it. Yes, I am aware that it's a girl's name. No, I don't care. No, I don't care that others might care. No, I'm not transgender.
