One time, we were playing a game of Never Have I Ever, and someone said 'Never pretended to be a race other than my own online.' The entire room froze for a second and then, slowly, shamefully, the three white dudes opposite me in the circle tipped their drinks back. (And also this Latino chick, but she's Latino, so nobody cared.)

"What?" Was the general consensus around the circle; everyone was fairly chill, and this was actually uncharacteristic of the three. The guy on the right was the first to say anything.

"Well, we found that girls always seem to want to date black dudes... so we pretended to be black." I swear that he looked like he was going to die, so the guy to his right (his perspective) jumped in with: "Yeah, but it didn't work, so we stopped."
