I hate rubber banding AI so much in Nintendo racing games back then, I am playing Majora's mask and I am doing the goron races, and it is so annoying, I am at the lead in the final stretch, and this goron shoots past you at blazing speeds

You clearly haven't played Need For speed Hot pursuit 2 or the Run when it comes to speak of rubberbanding.
