So I was having some delicious and spicy bravas potatoes, drinking a cold coke cola and working on a fanfiction series I'm currently handsfull with... and out of nowhere a Karen comes up to my table and tells me "Raise up the mask! there's children!"

Ok first... how do you want me to eat THROUGH a mask? I understand how to drink with the use of a straw and slip it underneath my mask, I deny because I'm not finished eating my snack yet and just as she goes off I end up saying "Payo!" to the waiter so she gtfo out of my table and lets me eat in peace.

for those who don't know... Romani/gipsy people use that word to refer to non-romani people, just as I mentioned that word when adressing the waiter her son goes up to her and says "Mom! he's a gipsy be careful!"

No more problems... like I haven't exactly experienced racism, didn't got called slurs let alone got told where is my space or cops harassed me for being part of a minority but... It simply upsets me that just because I happen to be romani people think I have a band of thugs on my back ready to strike at a moments notice.

Is this racism or simply a bad stereotype? I'm thankful for being able to resume eating my morning snack in peace but... this quite upset me, I'm not gonna lie.
