For those who don't know me irl, I was a part of a religion known as the Satanic Temple. I thought it was a peaceful religion, but Ieft the satanic temple today because it clearly is a religion designed for angry people, and I don't want to be angry all the time anymore.
I realized that homosexuality is a sin by definition... HOWEVER, sins and mistakes in general are part of what makes us human, therefore that is the reason why we are all sinners to some extent, and it is okay to be an LGBTQ+ christian.
The first book of John chapter 3 verse 15 (1 John 3:15, catholic bible) states "Anyone who hates a brother or sister is [on par with] a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eterrnal life residing in him," meaning that one should strive to be tolerant of everyone, as opposed to being full of hatred.
There are a lot of self-described "christians" who tell me that I will go to hell simply for existing, but those aren't real christians by my definition, because both the catholic and orthodox bibles (and NOT the King James bible) say that christians should love ALL.
In conclusion, this leads me to the question of "What is my religion," which at the moment the answer to that is simply I don't know, however I will most likely be a non-denominational secular christian, but I am still doing my research into different types of christianity.
