California is a place that is near and dear to my heart (but I'll admit it just *MAY* be because there's a picture of my species the bear on its flag, that there is a Big Bear lake and a town of Big Bear and that Mt. Shasta is the corporate base of my favorite restaurant The Black Bear Diner;-D).
