Fun fact: "Gay" did originally mean extreme happiness, until someone decided they needed a slang word for homosexuality.
For example, if someone walked "gayly" across a field, it meant they did it with vigor and energy.

Lol, yeah. I'd always laugh to myself when the word "Gay" is thrown around, and occasionally I'd respond with something along the lines of "Of course I'm happy." Or "And why aren't you happy too?".
