This is why I don't look up reviews for games I am interested in. When Crash Bandicoot 4 first came out, people really seemed to lke the game, and that boosted My Hope for the future of video games. Now people hate it for it's tedious completionist goal, and now I've never been more depressed for the state of video games and protagonist characters since Yooka-Laylee flopped and extremely generic human girl video game stole the spotlight.
