It’s my cat’s fifth birthday, today. I named her Blaze, after one of the female cat characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise because she was born on the 30th Anniversary of the franchise. Something that I have been doing recently is jigsaw puzzles and every time I have been doing a jigsaw on my coffee table, my cat has been jumping up on the coffee table and laying herself down on whatever jigsaw puzzle I am doing.

It’s the first day of Summer, and with how some days have been already with the weather, it be appropriate for all Furries to be just like this when going outside. There is a story to this artwork of my fursona, Richard Hedgehog, and why he is just wearing a black speedo. Back in September 2015, my grandmother, from my father’s side, passed away, she was the last of my grandparents. After the funeral, I asked a Furry friend, that introduced me to the Furry Community, to make an artwork of my fursona, Richard Hedgehog, wearing what I was wearing at her funeral, black trousers, white button shirt and black tie. Later on, I would find that someone has edited that artwork of my fursona, to look like that my fursona is just wearing a black speedo. I would make some farther edits, as some mistakes from the original artwork did carry over, such as the hands being the wrong colour and darker tip on the tail missing.
Today marks 32 years that I have been a Sonic the Hedgehog fan. 32 years ago, today, I played my very first video game, which was Sonic the Hedgehog on the SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis. I have mentioned this many times before, but it was Sonic that started my interest in anthropomorphic animals, and it was also because of Sonic that I find the Furry Community. I do have 3 copies of the original Sonic the Hedgehog game on the SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis, one of the North American region, one of European region and one of the Japanese region.
This artwork of my fursona, Richard Hedgehog, was done by “icantmosh” (DeviantArt). This artwork was made as a gift, and I think that this artwork is the first artwork where my fursona is in a full setting, with a complete and coloured background. Here my fursona, Richard Hedgehog, is doing some train spotting at an underground station. It has been a while since I have done some train spotting at an underground station myself. Also, I have never had a camera like that when I have been out train spotting.
