Hands are tough, every artist introductive bane. However i like what you have so far, especially the face, you did well conveying the emotional feeling you seemed to be shooting for.

Your worried about the hands?!! Just look at the rest! It's absolutely amazing! Your hands are Most likely great as well. I mean just look at the rest of the drawing. You should try to make one with hands and get another persons Perspective of it. I bet it would look great.

It just takes practice, draw nothing but hands on paper to help. Use reference. Trace your own hand.
