Next up is another of my Harliquin Troupe, now going with the American Mcgee's Alice inspired paint schemes. This one was inspired by the White Rabbit, i still have a lot of touch ups and such to clean up, and i want to change the color of the pendent, but overal she didnt turn out too bad.
Introducing my first ever crafted and painted tabletop minture.
Hes a Harliquin from my favorite faction in my favorite game Warhammer40k.
I based his colors of the Disney Cheshire cat.
Alice in wonderland was a cherished childhood concept with the Cheshire cat being my favorite, he was meant to be a practice peice for when i take the challenge to paint the rest of my Troupe in colors based off characters from my favorite old video game American Mcgee's Alice.
Ive always wanted to get into crafting minis but they always seemed so intimidating to get into, thankfully there are a lot of good tutorials out there.
While i like how he turned out, there is still a lot i need to learn.
Allow me to showcase my latest concept.
I wanted to tinker with more wire variations than what I'm used to.
This is just an early concept for now, it is made with .925 sterling silver square wire that I had twisted to give off a stronger shine. 12k gold half-round wire for the rope bindings and square bronze wire for the border.
This is the second I made for this concept, the first was made in full bronze just to get the pattern and method down.
My goal is to make a rosary a crucifix made with thicker wire in 3 types of 18k gold, white for the twisted areas, yellow the border and red for the binding. With the necklace and bead segment made with silver chainmaille rings and a medallion that I would cast, cut and carve myself.
