it's been hard growing up without a dad and have no memory of him but yet hear stories about him and then hearing for myself that he wants nothing to do with his own daughter that hurt i was 16 when it happened but i'm glad i have my mom she means the world to me i couldn't ask for a better role model than her

Never knew my real dad either. The one I did have turned out to be a violent pedophile so whatever, and he left when I was 9. Not going to his funeral.

Can relate. Dad left when I was three and visited only once when I was 6. Only sent cards with money for birthdays and Christmases.
