People think that any joke that doesn't seem to directly relate to the current context is 'lol random' humour. They neglect the fact that 'lol random' humour often attempts to derive (and ONLY derive) humour from the fact that it's unexpected/extremely out of context.
The jokes that I tend to tell are almost always predicated on the idea of 'absurdizing' (making to seem absurd) and recontextualizing (allowing one to understand it in a different way) human behaviours/other things that exist in the universe as opposed to just, like, shouting out 'HAHA GLASS KNUCK POTATO RUM!'
Furthermore, I usually make jokes with internal logic. 'Lol randem Xd' jokes do not do this. If they had actual internal logic, then they wouldn't be 'randumb' jokes. There's a difference between the stereotypical 'lol spork' ''''''''joke''''''''' and 'imagine calling pooping reverse anal voring.' One's literally just a noun/a phrase that's created simply to be weird/bizarre and totally noncontextualized, while the other is a literal absurdization of a concept while asking the user to join in on the absurdity of what a world would look like if it actually were that way.
I don't know how to get people to understand this. I'm tired of people saying that my jokes are XD RANDEM when they just... aren't. I'm not a random person. It's really tiresome.
