Let me tell you 3 things I know that are 100% true. Never ask for Free art, because if anyone is going to do one for you. It always turns out well below your expectations. A good quality commission is always around $50 and honestly I am willing to pay that for a good piece of work. Although MFF 2019 taught me always check what kind of art the artist does first. Lastly is I am not stupid when it comes to art for my website.

This goes goes back a few years. I was on Facebook looking for an artist to do a new banner for my site. This one artist stepped up saying they will send me 2 free examples. What I got looked as if they belonged on a porn site. Honestly it looked as if they got slapped together from images from Pornhub, that took all of 15 mins to do. Then had the nerve to ask for $1,000 to do a real banner. I kid you not that really happened. Look I am no ones fool, I blocked the scammer. And did one myself, even though I should look for an artist to do a new one.
