So if you go to ScottGames (Scott Cawthon’s Website) he has announced that he will be retiring from Five Nights at Freddy’s. This does not mean that the series is over because he has also mentioned he will “hand the franchise over” to someone he can really trust. This is all due to Twitter and Gen Z snowflakes that can’t take someone disagreeing with them. He has stated that he is leaving because he wishes to spend more time with his family and while that’s true, it’s partially due to the fact that people sent Scott death-threats and threatened to Dox him. But for now i’m gonna leave this here: #istandbyscott

He supported bad politicians. He had an opinion, that being they were better to run the country. And while it's fine to dislike his actions, it is never ok to threaten death upon someone. People sent both him and his family death threats. I don't care how bad their actions are, you should never send someone death threats unless they committed actual murders. TLDR: Both sides of this incident are in the wrong.

Scott himself is not a bad person. He's a genuinely great guy, even if this happened.
