One of the most disheartening things I find myself having to do as one of our 11 Administrators is ban a group member for breaking our Code of Conduct too many times (we have a 3 strike rule). The furry community as a whole is a very forgiving and sympathetic community, but even as such there are limits that our Administrators must impose for the protection of those in our group, especially for our cubs (minors). I keep telling myself that protecting our youngsters will help build a better Community and that my temporary discomfort in doing such is totally worth it in the long term. I only wish there was no need to pass such judgment but unfortunately there are those out there that insist on trying to do harmful / hateful things.

I believe your justified in the actions you feel you must take, and from what ive observed the admins here seem pretty fair and forgiving if not also patient and willing to use common sense. Ive been in the fandom long enough to see how some furs just refuse to "get it" so to speak, and need that smack upside the head (metaphorically of course, though there are some times...). If thats the only way they will learn then sadly so be it. Thank you for taking the time and initiative to look out for others and maintaining a safe and enjoyable place for the new generation to grow and connect without predatory concerns.
