I am currently in Massachusetts to visit family, and they live just across the river from Salem (“the witch city”). Yesterday, my family and I went into Salem. The shops are very interesting, to say the least- like an irl version of Diagon Alley. I even bought my first Tarot Deck!

Context: one of the former bullies at my school is somewhat scared of me because he thinks I’m an actual witch. I once lied to him and said that I put a hex [a curse] on him, and he said that almost soon after I said that to him, he got a poison ivy rash and a cracked skull, So I taught him a “spell” from a book I read that said how to remove a hex from oneself. Put simply, I bought the tarot cards mostly just to scare him a little further- he isn’t the sharpest of pencils tbh.
