If any of you don't know... I used to work in a auto news magazine a few years ago, wrote pieces about the new BEV SUV made by Ford, about Tesla's faults... But since there's no more job and no work... I want to put down my talent to write a piece about the fandom.

First... I have seen that the fandom's currently not on the best state now. Not to mention the drama and the witchhunting that is pretty much going on all around including the toxic ambient at some cons alongside the famous baby pizza incident...

I want people to post on here what they think might be the causes, from politics to anything else, I'll be willing to make a piece about the fandom.

Hmm...I've had experiences in other fandoms with similar outcomes. I could go onto a long spiel though I think it really boils down to a bit of narcissism in these communities. Once anonymity takes root there's not much in the way in counteracting toxic behavior including such at conventions. I will have to brainstorm because one of my systems went down again, so that'll give me time to think about it and refine it better.
