It is my cat’s fourth birthday today. She does a lot of things that other cats will do, like sleep on my head while I’m sleeping, but there is one thing that is unique to her. If I wake up and she is not sleeping on my head, but laying close by, awake herself, when she notices that I am awake, she will stand up, walk towards me, get really close to my face and lick my nose. It’s the only time that she will ever lick me.
