give me cheap but good laptop brand suggestions please cause I am planning on saving up enough money for a cheap laptop for privacy from my parents.

Anything windows is usually good. Chromebooks can be crazy slow and limiting. Macs are way too proprietary. DELL usually makes pretty cost effective laptops. Come to think of it, I haven't really looked at laptops in ages
