Okay, day 2. So today, I decided to go full-on weeb and pick an anime theme song. This is one that has recently helped shape my world view, "99" by Mob Choir. For those of you unfamiliar, Mob Psycho 100 is by the mangaka One, the same guy behind One Punch Man. While both series are about overpowered protagonists, the shows handle it in different ways. While One Punch Man wants to find a worthy challenger on his level, Mob just wants to live a normal life and improve himself every day. Mob has the capabilities to be a god among men but recognizes that he is nothing without his psychic powers. He recognizes and helped me recognize, that what makes us special isn't some innate talent, but rather accomplishments through hard work and dedication. It's partially why I have become a much more active participant in my own life as of late. I want to achieve something good in this world. After all, "If everyone is not special, maybe you can be who you want to be. Everyone will find their own answer." Please enjoy. The animation in that is so freaking good!)
