This is my boy Cupid, he, two girls, and four juvinile roosters came from a cockfighting bust to me through Rooster Sanctuary at Danzig's Roost and Heartwood Haven. He is generally very laid back and sweet, he has a girl to care for and he has been feeling a little better every day. He only has one issue we are trying to work through and that is being aggressive and protective with his resources. Often times with cockfighting these birds are fed drugs and starved and left in a dark crate before a fight to motivate them and to make them last longer in a fight. I do not know what exactly he has been through but he is safe now and we are doing this together.
