So for today’s #dailysong we’re going for something I think we can all relate to now. A song about the end of the world! In all seriousness, I listened to too many of these for comfort during 2020, but what I find unique about this one is the angle it focuses on. It’s from the perspective of someone at the end of the world, and while most songs take on a depressing tone, this one tries to be uplifting with the simple message of “Look at all we managed to accomplish.” I’m personally of the belief that we have a lot further to go as a society, but at the same time I look at all these great moments in the video and can’t help but feel like we have achieved some level of greatness. I dunno, maybe I’m looking too hard a this. But anyway, here’s “How Far We’ve Come,” by Matchbox Twenty.
