As much as I enjoy tech, just I feel that my understanding and methodology is so different that trying to see why others do things I can't fathom gives me a headache.
The example that always comes to mind are overheating laptops. I turn off the Boost feature (akin to overclocking) and my PCs idle at temperatures lower than a human being and don't go above 50C under normal use; while everyone else undervolts which creates more issues than it solves.
