As a bisexual male with a loving boyfriend, let me say this:

I truly don't care about Pride month, rallies, protests, parades, etc. Identifying as an "oppressed" minority is more popular than ever now and is celebrated by the masses. Pride month is in my view, forcing ones sexuality onto people; which I do not support.

I don't feel nor understand the need to feel pride for feelings you have for certain individuals by accident at birth. I accept who I am and go about my day.

I also will never fly ANY pride flag much less own one. Flying a pride flag is in my view nothing more that someone craving for attention.

Pride month is about celebrating the freedoms we've been given by those who fought and died for it previously. The people who paved the way for you to be who you are, without fear of prejudice, hate or being attacked. Without the fear of law enforcement kicking down your door and taking you into custody, beating you, maiming you etc.

If you think it's about sex, you're sorely fucking mistaken.

I would believe people who call me ace, though I would argue my stance is purely based on logic as a choice based on my upbringing and experiences. While probably nowhere close to a reliable analogy, it always comes to mind of Sonic Boom Knuckles in which he mentions that if something were to be within the status quo it wouldn't be constantly be brought up in typical activities.

What about patriotism? Its literally people having too much pride for a country that isn't what they make it out to be, yet that is ok but people having pride for their identity is "attention seeking"
