That's actually not too bad of an idea. At the *very* least, adding a hugs given and hugs received counter. Of course this would absolutely spam email notifications and fill people's notifications with hugs, thus potentially hiding more important notifications, so some details would be worked out there to keep it all tidy.
I am quite busy so I can not promise this any time soon, but I'll save this post and give it a big MAYBE!
