So, I have seen some comments here that I have seen elsewhere as well and, I have to put my 2 cents in here as well. Not putting down anyone's choices on who they feel is top, its their opinion and everyone has one and rightfully so. ANYWAY, here we go:

I believe that ranking fursuit makers is really all a matter of opinion. There are as many reasons to like or dislike a suit / maker as there are ways to describe the Furry Fandom. For every maker one person can label as grade “A” another could as easily point out flaws that could move them to grade “B”. I have seen less than desirable work come from some well known makers, and I have seen some top notch work come from total unknowns. In the pursuit of finding “your” maker it is 100% about you and your character, not what everyone else deems perfect. I have found that there are a lot of fursuiters (I am guilty of this myself) that when asked about “the best makers” will usually not give a definitive answer and rightfully so as they chose their maker based on what they believed was the best for their needs, not yours. Above and beyond this I have to point out that there is a growing tendency in the fandom to hold the top makers in such regards that fursuits that are not made by the best are not worthy of note and I personally think this is a disgraceful belief.

I am the designer/creator of my fursona, I enjoy seeing other artists renditions of Relic. I also made the fursuit of Relic. I took the time to learn the process, do the work to bring the character to life. By learning and going through the process I now have a much better understanding of the process and talents needed to produce a viable end product and have a much better appreciation for the art. It is wrong for others to believe that just because a suit is not “top tier” that there was less work and talent involved. For someone to dedicate themselves to trying and doing I will 100% applaud their effort. You must do and learn to get better!

Again, I am not putting any maker or any individual choices down. I personally look for makers that have an ability to be a bit more creative as to be able to produce fursuits that are each more unique in appearance and not blatantly recognizable as being made by the same maker.
